Description

Considered to be powerful nutritive herbs, Nettle, Alfalfa, Rose hips, and Raspberry Leaf are packed with essential vitamins and minerals that are often lacking in modern diets. These herbs are incredibly rich in vitamins A, C, E, and K, along with vital minerals like magnesium, potassium, iron, and calcium, all of which are essential for a healthy pregnancy, providing both the mother and her growing baby with the nourishment they need.

work

How does it work?

Nettle is especially known for its high magnesium and iron content, which can help combat fatigue, ease muscle cramping, aid sleep issues, and support healthy blood production during pregnancy. It can also promote milk production postpartum. Alfalfa boasts high amounts of vitamin K which is essential for blood clotting and can be passed on from mom to baby. Additionally, its vitamin C content supports the formation of a strong amniotic sac. Rose hips, bursting with vitamin C, support the immune system and can help with bladder control issues while the high fiber content can help prevent constipation.

Raspberry leaf, a staple in women’s herbal health, is a key ingredient in this tea. If you’ve ever noticed that raspberries resemble little uteruses, it is a sure sign of their natural connection to female reproductive health. Raspberry leaves help tone the uterine muscles, making them stronger and more effective when it comes time for the uterus to contract, whether during menstruation or, more notably, during childbirth, where they support more efficient contractions and may ease the birthing process.

To balance the earthy tones of these herbs, we’ve added a touch of Peppermint, which not only provides a refreshing flavor but also helps soothe indigestion. Marshmallow Root has soothing, demulcent properties that also help to ease heartburn and constipation caused by the increase in progesterone needed tu sustain a pregnancy. Its ability to soften and lubricate the digestive tract supports regularity and digestive comfort. Lastly, Goji berries add a boost of antioxidants, fiber, and a hint of natural sweetness.

Our Third Trimester Tea is designed to support you in the weeks leading up to childbirth, preparing your body for the incredible journey ahead. Each sip is a step towards nourishing and strengthening your body, providing you with the nutrients needed for a healthy, empowered pregnancy and birth.
