Our Story
Hey! I’m Lindsay, creator of Roots to Tonics, an online herbal apothecary dedicated to supporting women’s health—from periods to pregnancy and postpartum.
After earning a degree in Biology and working in the pharmaceutical industry for 5.5 years, I felt called to pursue another passion: Spain. I took a leap of faith, quit my job, packed my bags, and moved to Seville.
In 2020, herbalism entered my life by happenstance. A simple Instagram post lead me down the path to a world of natural healing. Having dealt with my own health struggles after arriving in Spain, and living through the uncertainty of the pandemic, it felt like a path that just made sense. I was amazed to learn about the powerful medicinal properties of plants and our deep, longstanding relationship with them.
This newfound passion became even more personal after becoming a mother in 2023. Experiencing a powerful and transformative home birth has deepened my desire to focus on women’s health, so that others, too, can feel empowered in their bodies and in their decisions.
By drawing from both my scientific expertise and the healing power of plants, my goal is to create herbal remedies that not only support women’s health, but also help them embrace their bodies’ innate wisdom.
